Research Director, Chicago

B2B International is the largest b2b-focused research agency. Our Client portfolio spans over 850 well-known brands, including half of the world’s largest 100 organizations. As a gyro company in the Dentsu Aegis Network, we are the leading b2b powerhouse that helps b2b brands grow.

Our Chicago office is seeking a Research Director to attract and serve clients in the region. The Research Director role has strategic importance within the company in terms of high exposure to some of the most recognized b2b brands, and opportunities to inform and transform how they go to market.

Accountabilities:

  • Inquiry taking, proposal writing and pitching
  • Responsible for directing research programs and for ensuring high quality deliverables throughout (including running kick-off meetings, designing questionnaires, writing strong conclusions and recommendations, and presenting research findings)
  • Focus group moderation
  • Thought leadership e.g. white papers / articles, critical thinking capabilities, transformative thinking / innovation
  • Business development, e.g. outreach, conferences, etc.
  • Strong leadership skills, e.g. lead by example, motivational, identify and develop staff skills, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in taking research inquiries, writing proposals, questionnaire design, etc.
  • Experience across a range of research studies including segmentation, brand tracking, customer experience, product development, etc.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good knowledge of statistics e.g. discrete choice and latent class clustering

Senior Research Analyst, NY

We are seeking a Senior Research Analyst in NY (either Manhattan or White Plains/Westchester County) to analyze research findings and develop reports for clients. The role provides exposure to some of the most recognized b2b companies, including opportunities to inform and transform how they go to market through the power of insights.

Accountabilities:

  • Analysis of quantitative data and report development
  • Briefing in-house survey programmers and interviewers
  • Checking data and sample quality
  • Client and vendor liaison
  • Client presentations
  • Desk research

Education and/or Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in analyzing quantitative data/insights, presenting findings, etc.
  • At least some experience across a range of research studies such as segmentation, brand tracking, customer satisfaction, product development, etc.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience analyzing data in software programs like Q, SPSS, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of statistics such as regression
  • Strong interpretation skills for the ability to identify the story behind the data
  • Strong writing skills to clearly communicate the findings
  • Strong creative skills for communicating the findings in a visually appealing way in PPT
